Role
Individual Academic Project

Extending the Living Spaces proposes a community-oriented housing model in Hawthorn, Melbourne, organized around a shared central garden.

A clear structural grid defines circulation, communal amenities, and a range of adaptable dwelling types. Centralized service cores, sliding partitions, and operable facade elements allow domestic space to change over time and extend beyond the conventional apartment boundary.

Timber framing, generous galleries, and shared outdoor spaces establish a closer relationship between dwelling and landscape, combining privacy with opportunities for everyday social interaction.
